On May 8, l995, a fledgling idea took root and Lombardi Electric came into being. Douglas Lombardi's lifelong dream, to establish his own electrical contracting company, became a reality. An affinity for math, plus natural organizational skills gave Doug an edge. He created a company which would exceed even his expectations.
Originally Lombardi Electric had two employees, Doug and his wife, Linda. Their office was in a small room in their home. Doug took very little salary and reinvested all he could spare back into the company.
Today, the thriving business occupies its own building which includes a 2500 square foot office suite and a 3600 square foot warehouse. The company is staffed with engineers, estimators, project managers and other specialists who take pride in their work and employer's accomplishments.

Matt Doeseckle has a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Cisco Networking. He has been with Lombardi Electric for over eight years and is a Project Manager/Estimator in our construction division. |

Dave McHugh graduated from Devry University with a (BSEET) Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. He has worked for Lombardi Electric since 1997. In addition to managing Lombardi’s Furniture Division, Dave’s current responsibilities include sales, site visits, estimating, purchasing and project management. Dave also supervises our manufacturing of furniture junction boxes to ensure we maintain UL standards. During the past year, Dave worked closely with Bridgeport to develop a new UL-approved electrical fitting for wiring unique applications of furniture installations. When he is not working hard to exceed our customers’ expectations, Dave enjoys participating in outdoor sports.

Mike Miller came to us in 2005 with a strong background in facilities maintenance and repair. He enjoys working with his hands. In 2007, he was promoted to Shop Manager. Mike coordinates the staging of electrical projects for all three divisions. In addition to routing and supervising the drivers, he is responsible for vehicle safety and maintenance. He also oversees the manufacture of electrical boxes we sell. Mike says “everyone is fun to work with” here at Lombardi Electric. He likes the “family atmosphere” and that “everyone’s door is always open." |

Bill Moran attended Eastern Illinois University with additional communications training from DeVry University. He began his career in 1991 as an apprentice at OPC Communications. When he left the company in 2007, he had worked his way up to Director of Operations. Bill joined the Lombardi Electric family as Project Manager of the newly developed Voice/Data division. Bill lives in Western Springs with his wife and three young children. |

Our Office Manager, Patricia Nowak came to us ten years ago with a great deal of accounting experience. It was especially challenging at that time because she was our entire support staff. Pat is diligent in her responsibilities which include Accounts Receivable, Payables and Payroll. She loves numbers! We also receive many compliments on her excellent customer service. Pat’s leisure activities include reading, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. |

Cynthia Reed has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. As a former Project Manager and Field Trainer for Motorola, she traveled nationwide and was also an expatriate in Europe and Australia. As our Project Coordinator, her responsibilities include scheduling and administrative project tasks. Cynthia says she loves the friendly team and warm office environment at Lombardi Electric. |
